  • NO FOOD, NO DRINKS FOR 8 HOURS FROM 12 MIDNIGHT
  • PATIENTS SHOULD NOT VOID (URINATE) FOR WHOLE ABDOMEN

NECK AND THYROID

  • WEAR LOOSE AND COMFORTABLE CLOTHING ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM
  • REMOVE ANY JEWELRY AND ANY ACCESSORIES NEAR YOUR NECK

INGUINO-SCROTAL

  • WEAR COMFORTABLE, LOOSE FITTING CLOTHING
  • REMOVE ALL ACCESSORIES AND OTHER OBJECTS THAT MAY OBSTRUCT IN THE EXAMINATION

FOR BABIES

  • 3 TO 4 HOURS FASTING
  • WATCHERS ARE INSTRUCTED TO BRING MILK FOR BABIES AND IS GIVEN RIGHT AFTER THE EXAMINATION

PREGNANT WOMEN

  • USE OR WEAR A DRESS THAT IS COMFORTABLE FOR THE PATIENT
